Carlos Faustino (he/him)
Investigations Support Lawyer
Carlos is a multilingual Investigations Support Lawyer who is engaged in all aspects of investigations, from initial intake to evidence review, to drafting. He has diverse research and analytical expertise, with a background in human rights law. He has supported cases and investigations involving racial discrimination, bullying, harassment, disability accommodation, and other labour and employment matters.
Carlos' previous experiences at a public school board and at the Department of Justice ensure that his investigations are thorough, timely, and impartial. Having worked as a mental health volunteer, he incorporates respect, empathy and compassion in all his work and interactions with investigation participants.
Carlos received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, where he majored in political science and history, and minored in French. He holds a Juris Doctor from Queen's University, and is called to the Ontario bar.
Outside of lawyering, Carlos enjoys exploring cities and museums, travelling, volunteer work, and learning foreign languages. He is fluent in French and Spanish, and hopes to incorporate several more into his practice.
