Esther Eun-Bin Chung (she/her)

Summer Law Student

Esther is a second-year law student at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, joining the firm this summer as our very first summer law student. In this role, Esther conducts legal research, participates in workplace investigations as a member of the team, reviews oral and documentary evidence, with a view to assessing and interpreting it, and supports report drafting.

Prior to joining the firm, Esther completed a summer placement with the legal department of one of Canada’s largest banks where she was first introduced to, and gained a special interest in, the field of labour and employment.

As a law student, Esther’s passion for advocacy led her to serve as co-chair of the Lincoln Alexander Advocacy Society where she worked to coordinate various moots and lawyering skills competitions for the law student body. She also competed in the Canadian rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and will serve as a student coach for next year’s Lincoln Alexander Jessup team.

Esther also holds an Honours BSc from the University of Waterloo where she majored in Science and Business with a specialization in biology.

In her spare time, Esther enjoys baking for her family, watching movies, and going on road trips.
