Bilingual Lawyer & Investigator

Hélène is a bilingual human rights and workplace investigations lawyer who conducts investigations in English and French. She has expertise in workplace harassment and discrimination, including sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and anti-black racism. Hélène is a creative thinker who approaches her work with compassion, respect, and integrity.

Before joining Mortimer Khoraych PC, Hélène was a bilingual legal counsel at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre, where she represented clients at mediations and hearings in front of the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal in French and English. She also worked for several years at the Law Society of Ontario, where she developed strong expertise in professional regulation.

Prior to moving to Canada, Hélène was a civil and commercial litigation lawyer in a mid-size law firm in Paris, France.

Hélène is called to the Ontario Bar and completed her Canadian Common Law LLM at Osgoode Law School. She was also called to the Bar in Paris, France, and holds an LLM in European Business Law from the University of Paris 2 Pantheon-Assas.

She is a member of the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario (AJEFO).

In her free time, Hélène enjoys cooking for her family and friends, running, and playing with her two orange cats, Sunny and Blaze.
