Krupa Shah (she/her)
Lawyer & Investigator
Krupa is a lawyer and workplace investigator. Her work as a trauma-informed investigator is informed by her previous experience working on claims involving workplace harassment, including sexual harassment, and gender and sexual orientation-based harassment. Krupa emphasizes approaching investigations in a sensitive and empathetic manner to minimize the risk of re-traumatization. Krupa’s focus is also on analyzing evidence in a fair and balanced manner, and making strong findings of fact, including credibility assessments of parties and witnesses. Krupa’s investigation reports are thorough and detailed, so that employers and other institutions understand the nuances before determining next steps.
Prior to joining Mortimer Khoraych, Krupa spent several years practicing class action litigation at leading class action boutiques in Toronto. There, she litigated actions on a broad range of matters, including social justice, employment, consumer, and competition/price-fixing cases.
