Investigations Law Clerk
Pragya Kureel is a dedicated Investigations Law Clerk, assisting lead investigators in all aspects of conducting workplace and institutional investigations.
With a background in criminal litigation, Pragya reviews and succinctly outlines relevant documentary and witness evidence, communicates regularly with participants in her kind and patient way, and ensures our investigations proceed in a timely and thorough manner.
Prior to joining MKPC, Pragya was a Law Clerk at a personal injury law firm, and prior to that, Pragya was a practicing lawyer in India, where she represented clients at various levels of the judicial system in India, consistently advocating for their rights and seeking redress.
Pragya is also an avid advocate for women's rights, volunteering with NGOs and addressing vital issues of gender inequality and violence. Pragya is not only an accomplished legal professional but also a three-time published author.
Pragya recently completed her LLM at Queen’s University, with a specialization in Feminist Legal Studies. Prior to this, Pragya completed her Juris Doctor at the University School of Law and Legal Studies in New Delhi, India.
In her personal time, Pragya's interests include writing books, traveling, reading, expanding her knowledge, and immersing herself in diverse cultural practices from various ethnic groups.
